We ask all our clients to complete a form and have it stamped by their vet so that we are sure that hydrotherapy is suitable for your dog. This is particularly important with regard to injuries.

Terms and Conditions
  1. FPA take great care of the dogs undergoing hydrotherapy, the pool and the equipment used. However, all dogs receive hydrotherapy treatment entirely at their owner’s risk.
  2. Every session must be paid for on the day of treatment and a £5.00 deposit will be taken to secure your booking. Furthermore, no refund can be given on pre-paid packages offered by Four Paws Aqua. However, there is no expiry date on these sessions and so they can be booked in accordance with the owner’s convenience.
  3. No hydrotherapy treatment will be given without a registration form signed by a veterinary surgeon. ( we ask you for your details so we can fax your dogs details off to the vet the vet will fax  your  registration back to us.) 
  4. Dogs with gastric upset, kennel cough, eye infection or are otherwise unwell, will not be treated. We would appreciate 24 hour cancellation notice in such cases.
  5. Owners entering the pool with their dogs do so at their own risk and a disclaimer form must be signed.
  6. Please notify FPA if, the dog’s health or condition worsens, or if the veterinary surgeon advises against any further treatment.
  7. FPA reserves the right to refuse treatment to any dog.
  8. Owner's are requested not to feed their dog for at least THREE hours before attending an appointment, and to ensure that the dog has done it’s ablutions before arriving. A surcharge of £50 will be made for dogs that defecate in the pool. It is the owner’s responsibility to poop-a-scoop after their dogs, whilst on company premises and its surrounding environment. Poop-a-scoop bags are available on request.
  9. FPA reserves the right to cancel any session .e.g. In the case of a power failure. Please ensure that we can always contact you by telephone. E.g. Mobile number.

  10. Please keep your dog on a lead and under your control when not actually in the pool.
  11. FPA cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to vehicles or personal property or loss or injury to any person or dog whilst on company premises, however caused.
  12. Please wear sensible shoes with non-slip soles during your visit as the floors can become slippery when wet. Anyone in the pool area can get splashed during a hydrotherapy session.
  13. Payment is by cash and debit cards or credit cards.
  14. We reserve the right to use video/photographic equipment during hydrotherapy sessions
  15. We also reserve the right to use the footage taken during these sessions
  16. Photographs and videos cannot be taken unless prior permission from Karen is obtained.
