We ask all our clients to complete a form and have it stamped by their vet so that we are sure that hydrotherapy is suitable for your dog. This is particularly important with regard to injuries.

What is Hydrotherapy?

Hydrotherapy is, quite literally, a treatment in water. It's ideal for dogs who are suffering with mobility problems, such as arthritis, or perhaps they are overweight and finding it difficult to walk.

Dogs recovering from injury also benefit hugely from hydrotherapy sessions, as they can exercise without putting pressure or strain on their affected limbs.

It's also just a really fun way for your dog to get a fantastic workout. Perhaps you, their owner, are temporarily unable to exercise your pet sufficiently. Until you can - bring them to Four Paws Aqua and watch them have a great time in the pool.

A 10 minute swim has been found to be equivalent to a 5 mile walk!
